Stereum ostrea
Stereum ostrea grows in profusion on dead wood in wet forests. Always a goldeny colour with brown stripes, the upper surface can be slightly hairy. Each fruiting body is deeply funnel shaped, and broadly attached to the wood on which it is growing.
