Dermocybe splendida
Dermocybe splendida grows on the ground in euaclypt forests. It has a brown red cap, vivid orange red gills which are adnexed, sinuate when mature and close, and bright yellow mycelium at its base. Stems taper upwards and are yellowish to the base and red at the apex. It can be detinguished from all other red t red brownlook-alikes by the yellow mycelium at the base of the stem, dry cap and vivid red gills.Dermocybe splendida
