Ref 2007121205. Gipps Close, Turramurra, December 12, 2007, in sandy soil and leaf litter in mature eucalypt forest after heavy rain. Cap 55mm across, planar flattened, pale brown, radially patterned, central point dark brown. Cap surface moist, splitting, margn upcurved, slightly inrolled, split, gills very variable in width and length, adnexed, subdistant, beautiful pale pink, eroded. Stipe central, hollow, slightly yellowish, fibous, pale grey wth darker grey striations, 60mm long, 5mm thick. Very thin flesh in cap, cap surface peels easily. Picture ref: 732 Gallery ref: 14
