Unknown bolete

Unknown bolete

Unknown bolete in soil and leaf litter Jerusalem Creek Walk, Chichester State Forest, near Chichester Dam. 80mm high, cap 15mm across. Cap very small compared to stipe. Yellow viscid cap, flesh very soft. Pores coarse. Not much more can be said about this bolete, as in the course of carrying it on the rest of the walk it disintegrated into a pulpy mass through the actions of a slime mould that apparently was parasitising the fungus.
