Leucoprinus birnbaumii

Leucoprinus birnbaumii, Killara, Syndey, NSW, Australia, in flower pot, January 2003. 'Caps 60mm across, ovoid at first becoming bell shaped then flattened and soon collapsing. This distinctive fungus is usually seen in flowerpots and planter boxes in nurseries and outdoors in warm climates. Spores variable, white.' (Fuhrer 2005) Picture ref: 403 Gallery ref: 6
