Unknown species, possibly Hebeloma, NSW, Sydney, West Pymble, Gloucester Avenue Fire trial, Lane Cove National Park in soil amongst fallen timber. Pleasant mushroom smell. In Eucalypt forest, growing in groups June 25, 2006. Cap 7mm thick, 40-50mm across umbonate mustard brown to orange tan, surface moist, greasy downy zoned. Margin regular striate, Gills adnate, alternate long/short, subdistant. Gills mustard yellow separating from cap relatively easily. Gill margin wavy. Stipe thin, symetrical, fibrous tough, 65-70mm in length, 3-4 mms in diamter. Flesh pale cream to ochre. Picture ref: 350 Gallery ref: 6
