This slime mould is shown changing to produce sporangia. Growing on wood, December, Barrington National Park. The log on which it was growing had been completely detsroyed by fungal attack within 12 months. All that remained was a pile of soggy wood chips. Picture ref: 239 Gallery ref: 6
