Unknown fungus ref 100403200. "Bluey's Walk" Upper Allyn Lister Village, April 2010, growing on wood in very wet gully. Gills crowded and anastomising, thick and waxy and decurrent. The gill surface zoned tonally darker to cap edge, lighter mauve shade then pale creamy beige where the gills merge into the short stipe. Prominent mauve tinge throughout, which fades considerably after being picked. Cap deeply funnel shaped and bifurcate - all caps on the log were so shaped. Cap surface dry and velvety, with a dark brown edge and mottled pinkish beige centrally to cinnamon. Stipe stuffed, tough and firm, flesh tough and firm. Flesh white, thin. pleasant smell. 90mm tall and 130mm across. Specimens didn't give much in the way of spore prints, but spores may be white. Picture ref: 1619 Gallery ref: 23
